		<description>Some readers are commenting that they are not aware of a tendancy to pull their fingers back when there palm is facing down. There are several possible reasons for this. One might be that you just don&#039;t have the acuity necessary to be aware of the change, another is that you are much better at controlling parasitic motions. There are several other occasions where you are likely to notice these movements, but you have to be an observer and the observed, making the process quite tricky. You may find it easier to either get a friend or use a video camera to capture the extra movement in a given task. Keep the task simple, complex tasks will be difficult to analyse. Something like brushing your teeth where only 1 limb and your head should really be involved in the task.
